This photo is meant to be what I call a "partner" photo. Meaning it has another half. This one happens to be for the masculine. It is the partner photo of "A Beautiful Mess" I am also giving this one a double narrative for mens mental health.

For the men out there. Your partner sees you. Standing tall amongst the wind and the rain. Being battered and bruised by the unrelentless waves. They see your trying to hold it all together. They see you weathered by the wind and sun and yet you continue to stand for those you love, against unfathomable odds you keep standing. 

They see you. They see your strength and determination. They value your effort and support for them when you are running on empty. You are worthy of love for being who you are. Nothing more and nothing less. You are enough. 

For my lads out there braving the world feeling alone. When you think no one else sees you. I see you. I see the shadow lurking in the distance tormenting you, begging you to give up, topple and fall to the sand. I see the part of you, you try to hide with a smile on your face. 

I say to you with a soft heart, be brave my friend, face your shadow. Embrace the pain and the darkness. I have walked this  path myself and the best way to heal is to feel. The quickest way through a storm is to go through it. This is no easy task as I can guarantee it will be one of the hardest things you will ever do in this life time but I can promise you it will be so worth it.

The world needs more healed men. There is a place for men to have emotions and still be masculine. In fact its necessary to stop repeating traumas and propagating pain. If you are a man struggling with your mental health please talk to someone about it. It does not make you weak. In fact its quite the opposite. It will make you stronger than you will ever know. Remember you are enough and you are worthy of love for just being a human.
